    HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 2004--

Bookings for Power Units Segment in Excess of $2.6M for Month of June

Orbit International Corp. (NASDAQ:ORBT) today announced that its Power Units Segment, Behlman Electronics, Inc., ("Behlman") has received an order for approximately $425,000 for power supplies for the MK 119 gun control system used on the U.S. Navy's AEGIS destroyers. Deliveries under this contract are expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2004 and continue through the first quarter of 2005.

The Company also announced that Behlman's bookings during the month of June were in excess of $2,600,000 due to the recent receipt of orders from Raytheon Systems Company (NYSE:RTN) for the Forward Looking Infrared Radar (FLIR) for the F/A-18 aircraft.

Mark Tublisky, President of Behlman, commented, "Behlman continues to see strong demand for its products in Custom-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and niche power applications. This order is of added significance because it represents products sold by both Behlman's custom and commercial divisions and demonstrates the benefit of Behlman's broad product line and balanced market appeal. We remain confident that the cross marketing of Behlman's custom and commercial products will continue to generate new sales opportunities."

Dennis Sunshine, President and Chief Executive Officer of Orbit International Corp. added, "This order for Behlman is a follow-on order for these products. Both our Power Units and Electronics Segments continue to receive contract awards for reorders from our customers on existing programs and some of the new opportunities we have been pursuing are also coming to fruition. We remain confident in our outlook for strong operating results for 2004."
