BRUSSELS, Belgium — The BU7265G/SG and BU7411G/SG series of CMOS op-amps (operational amplifiers), developed by Rohm Semiconductor claim to provide the industry's lowest current consumption of 0.35 µA and slew rate of 0.05 V/µs. This makes the devices ideal for battery-driven sets. A total of 8 models are offered to fit a variety of needs, including full-swing/ground sense types and units capable of stable operation at up to 105 °C.
Electronic devices are increasingly designed to minimize power consumption. With this in mind, ROHM has focused attention on the expansion of its low current consumption CMOS operational amplifier series, optimized for small-signal amplification in portable devices and sensors. The BU7411G/SG series in particular combines ultra-low current consumption (0.35 µA) with low voltage capability (from 1.6 V), reducing power.
The entire lineup also features high ESD resistance (4 kV), providing a greater level of reliability. The devices also feature a low-input bias current of 1 pA and come in a compact SSOP5 package(equivalent to SOT-23).
